What we collect
- Your Mongoose sign-in. When you sign in with Mongoose, we receive your Mongoose account identifier and email address. We use them to keep your screens and images yours. We never see your Mongoose password.
- What you make. Your screens (their settings and text), the photos you upload, the prompts you write for AI images and the images made from them.
- Payments. If you make AI images past the free daily amount, we ask Mongoose to charge your Mongoose Card and keep a record of each charge. Card and bank details stay with Mongoose and its payment processor; we never receive them.
- Play counts. We count how many times a shared screen is opened, without recording who opened it.
- Site statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate, cookieless page-performance statistics. It does not track you across sites.
Your device stays your device
The weather widget asks your browser for your location only if you leave its place empty, and only your browser uses it: it goes to Open-Meteo to fetch the forecast and is never sent to us. The battery gauge reads your battery level in your browser only.
AI images
Your prompts are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to check them for safety and to make the image. Do not put personal or confidential information in prompts.
Sharing
A screen is private until you choose otherwise. "Anyone with the link" lets people who have its link play it. "Public gallery" lists it for everyone. Images used in a shared screen can be viewed by the people you share it with.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your screens and images until you delete them. You can delete any screen or image at any time, and Account → Delete removes all of them and your Screens account. Records of charges are kept as long as the law requires.
Children
Mongoose Screens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
